Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an appointment take?
Plan on about 45 minutes door to door. The infusion itself usually runs 30–45 minutes depending on which formula you choose.
Does it hurt?
You'll feel a quick pinch when the IV is placed, similar to a routine blood draw. After that most people don't notice it.
What do I need to have ready?
Just a comfortable place to sit for an hour. We bring the fluids, supplies, and everything else, and we take all of it with us when we go.
Who shouldn't get IV therapy?
IV hydration isn't appropriate for everyone — including some people with kidney or heart conditions. Your provider will review your history first and will decline the appointment if it isn't safe. When in doubt, check with your primary care provider.
Do you take insurance?
No. IV hydration therapy is an elective wellness service and is paid out of pocket.
